CLUB MARCOS INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL RALLY

Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 August 2025

First and foremost this is our Annual Rally weekend but it is also an open event, in partnership with Marcos Motor Company Ltd., for ALL Marcos enthusiasts to commemorate Jem Marsh and his many sporting achievements with the Jem Marsh Memorial Race and 30th Anniversary of the return of Marcos to racing at Le Mans in 1995.  With the passing of Dennis Adams on 3rd November 2024 we can also reflect on the design of the Marcos coupe and its influence on the later Marcos.  With his brother Peter, the Adams brothers were instrumental in the early design of the Marcos.

This is a handicap race event open to all race ready Marcos and derivatives. Motorsport UK regulations apply as detailed on the Motorsport UK Yearbook, commonly known as the Blue Book. Pleased check carefully all lifed items if your car has not been on the road and/or raced for some time.  It is your personal responsibility to ensure that you and your car are ready to pass scrutiny.  Full race regulations will be made available to those teams/drivers who register for the event.  Registration and payment can be made direct to Snetterton Circuit when booking opens.  Qualifying is on Saturday with a race on Saturday and one on Sunday,  We are using the 300 Circuit, 3 miles, 5 LH corners, 7 RH corners, Pole Position - left.  Lap record - 1:39:933 (Felipe Nasr, Dellara F308, 2011, F3)

Accommodation

We have secured a number of rooms at the Priory Hotel, Mildenhall Road, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP32 6EH.  It's just under 40 minutes from the circuit.  And it's an easy 30 minute stroll or 5 minute taxi ride into town.  If you have some time before or after it appears to be an interesting town to explore.  We appreciate it is quite a long way for most of you so why not take advantage of the many other attractions in the surrounding area and add some days to unwind after the weekend,

Dinner, Bed & Breakfast (DB&B) is £72 per person per night (£144 per room), for Saturday 9th August.

A smaller number of rooms have been secured on a B&B rate, £54 per person per night (£108 per room) for Friday night (8th August) and/or Sunday night (10th August).  There is an option to opt for DB&B for those extra nights when booking, or simply decide when you are there.

If you would like to book a twin bedded room or for single occupancy please state when booking.  The rates for single occupancy are:

• Friday 8th £69.00 B&B
• Saturday 9th £87.00 DB&B
• Sunday 10th £69.00 B&B

There is a 24-hour cancellation policy on all rooms until 2pm day prior to arrival with full payment taken after that.

If for any reason the payment arrangements outlined above change, you will be advised by the hotel. Please book early as you can so we can manage the rooms available on our allocation.

There are other hotels around and it very much depends on choice, and price, but hope you can join us.
